Our History
Christian Care Communities & Services (CCC&S) is a non-profit, faith-based organization that has been providing quality housing and health care services for seniors in North Texas for over 70 years. The organization was founded on April 4, 1947, as the “Home for the Aged” in Gunter, Texas, serving as a ministry to retired Church of Christ ministers. The initial residents were housed in the old Gunter Bible College and were supported by donations from individuals, churches, and in-kind contributions from local neighbors. Hilltop Haven, as it later became known, was one of the first nursing communities in Texas to be certified for Alzheimer’s care.
Our Communities
We are now operated by Boncrest Resource Group, a nonprofit faith-affirming organization with a strong mission of serving others. We appreciate the many opportunities this relationship brings to our residents and community. Boncrest Resource Group has contracted with Oakdale Seniors Alliance for the management of our community. Oakdale Seniors Alliance supports communities that provide a full continuum of care services: independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and home health/hospice services.
